Early Childhood Education and Care Employer Forum

Workforce Australia Local Jobs Barwon and The Gordon’s Skills and Jobs Centre would like to invite you to an Employer Forum for the Early Childhood Education and Care sector. 

This forum aims to maximise workforce participation in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector, increase retention rates, and offer support for current and future workforce shortages.   

Attendees will hear from guest speakers providing information on federal and state government programs and incentives, recruitment and retention strategies, training opportunities, accessing available workers, and can participate in round table discussions on key issues.  

 

Where: The Gallery, located within The Gordon TAFE’s City Campus (enter via the corner of Fenwick Street and Gordon Avenue) 

When: Thursday, 16th of May 202410am to 2.30pm 

 

Lunch will be provided.

 This Forum forms part of a series of three events and will be followed by:  

  • ‘Industry Insights into Early Childhood Education and Care’ online, Tuesday 28 May, 4pm to 5pm, for individuals interested in joining the sector, and 
  • ‘Early Childhood Education and Care Jobs Expo’ on Tuesday 11 June, 10am to 3pm, to provide individuals with links to employers. Information on exhibiting at the Jobs Expo will be provided at the Employer Forum.  

A fantastic opportunity for Directors, Centre Managers, Recruitment teams and other staff within the Early Childhood Education and Care sector to network with other Centre’s and work together to improve outcomes for the sector.
