TLC Aged Care Recruitment Day

On Friday 2 December, Workforce Australia Local Jobs Barwon assisted TLC Aged Care host a Traineeship and Recruitment Open Day at TLC’s Warralily Gardens Home.

TLC have a number of employment opportunities available at their three homes in and around Geelong, located in Belmont, Wallington and Warralily Gardens. Roles available include Personal Care Workers, Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Care Managers, and Allied Health Practitioners, plus a number of traineeship opportunities.

Approximately 25 people attended on the day, with many attending the Information Session at 1pm. Everyone who attended was provided with a tour of the Warralily home, and was also able to speak with a member of the TLC Talent Team about the career pathways available.

Combined with the promotion of the event, TLC have had 18 applications for trainees and are currently interviewing, with 8 trainees interested in positions at Warralily Gardens and up to 7 poeple interested in the Homestead in Wallington. The TLC Talent Team have had 8 applicants for qualified roles with 3 currently completing interviewing and starting in the new year.

TLC Aged Care were so pleased with the event that that they are now looking at rolling out similar events in other regions.
