Supply Chain Talent Pipeline Career Practitioner Professional Development Program

A professional development opportunity for career practitioners and employment facilitators to learn more about an often poorly understood industry.

Traditionally supply chain has struggled with its industry image and is often seen as a second-tier career option. But as the COVID pandemic showed, supply chain is integral to a company’s economic success and critical to an environmentally sustainable future. In a fast-changing world, supply chain and logistics offers a wide range of exciting and future proof careers for young people looking to make a difference in the world.

This one-day PD program aims to showcase the education and career opportunities for young people, particularly women, in what today is a high-tech, fast evolving industry, managing multiple interactions and requiring a rich mix of skills.

The program will include a visit to Cotton On’s state-of-the-art distribution centre at Avalon Airport. The aim is to provide employment professionals with useful resources about a fast-changing sector that is actively recruiting a diverse and high-tech workforce.

The program is FREE with transport and light refreshments included.
