Aged Care Think Tank and Information Session

The Gordon TAFE hosted an Aged Care Think Tank on Thursday 2 June, which brought approximately 30 stakeholders together from the Aged Care sector in the region including providers, education providers, and group training providers. Discussion items included possible solutions to the Aged Care employee shortages, identifying customised training solutions, and best practice for student placement.

From 2pm to 3pm, approximately 10-15 jobseekers interested in working in Aged Care were able to chat to providers about the employment opportunities available, and what it’s like to work in the industry.

If you would like to find out more about this initiative, whether you are an aged care provider in the Barwon region or a jobseeker, please contact us.
